POOL GUIDELINES

Male, female, disabled and family changing rooms are provided. Please shower before entering the pools and use the lockers provided (20p) for clothes and valuables. It is not permitted to leave clothes in cubicles at any time.

Lifeguards
Lifeguards are fully qualified and are on duty to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Should you feel unwell or require first aid, ensure the lifeguard is notified immediately.

Hygiene & Safety
Jewellery must not be worn and long hair should be put in a swimming hat during lessons. Pupils should not eat a main meal at least one hour prior to their lessons and all pupils should visit the toilet before their lesson.

General Rules

  • Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult in the pool at all times.
  • Last ticket is sold 30 minutes prior to closing.
  • Cameras can only be permitted provided written confirmation has been obtained from the Manager.
  • Armbands, goggles, swim hats and swim nappies can be puchased from main Reception.
  • A disabled hoist is available if it is required -please request at Main Reception upon arrival.
  • Flippers, masks and hand paddles are not permitted in casual sessions. For safety reasons these items can only be used in Coach controlled sessions.
  • Children under 4 years of age should be accompanied by an adult (16+) on a one to one basis when using the main pool.
  • Children aged 4-7 should be accompanied by an adult on a maximum of two children to one adult basis.
  • The teaching pool operates 2 children under the age of 4 years accompanied by an adult when the barrier is fully operational.
  • Tickets for the sessions are sold 5 minutes prior to the session start time.
