BUPA HARTSWOOD SPONSORS THE FITNESS CENTRE

The Brentwood Centre welcomes BUPA Hartswood hospital as their new sponsor of the centre’s Fitness for Health Scheme.
This scheme, which has support of the South Essex Health Authority, enables GPs to refer patients to the Brentwood Centre’s highly trained team in order that they can enjoy professionally monitored regular exercise. The benefits of the scheme include:
- Weight loss
- Improve circulation and posture
- Strengthen bones and increase aerobics fitness
- Reduce stress and normalise blood pressure
- Increase joint mobility
- Reduce the risk of heart disease
- An increase sense of well being
The scheme’s attributes meant that the BUPA Hartswood Hospital was the natural partner for this scheme as Karen Chilvers, Business development Manager, explained:
“The Hartswood priority is the health and well being of our patients and this association with the Brentwood Centre certainly reinforces that fact. Over the next two years we’ll be working with GP’s within the Essex community to promote the enormous health benefits of regular exercise. Both organisations can boast well-qualified, experienced and friendly staff, which all helps to encourage patients in their efforts to improve their well-being.”
Bob Mclintock Deputy Chief and Director of Community Services thanked BUPA Hartswood for their support and also local doctors, hospitals who have supported the scheme over previous years.
