Winners of the N.O.E.A. and Capita Symonds - Green Tribute - 2006

At the recent National Outdoor Event Associations (NOEA)
Annual Convention & Tribute Celebration held at
The Chateau Impney in Droitwich Spa Worcs,
Suffolk based Midas Productions were delighted to win the
Green Tribute, sponsored by Capita Symonds, for their work
providing eco friendly power solutions to the Entertainment Industry.

The NOEA is a trade association encompassing all those involved
in the world of outdoor events, established for 25 years with a
membership of around 400 individuals and organisations including,
event and show organisers, venues, local authorities, promoters,
universities, entertainers and suppliers of equipment and services.
To be recognised for such an award by the very people we respect
within the industry was both a thrilling and humbling experience
said directors of Midas David Noble and Andy Dann.
Other nominees included Westonbirt Arboretum in Glos.
and Cambridge Folk Festival.

This good news reflects the already buoyant start to 2006 says David,
we?ve noticed a very definite up swing in business with many
more clients actively focusing on how to limit the impact on the
Environment there events have. The message does seem to be getting
through, and with the ever-increasing costs of fossil fuels the
price comparison between the two (fossil & Bio) are now negligible.
That coupled with the sobering fact that with every
tonne (1,000 Litres) of fossil fuel burnt adds some 3 tonnes of CO2
into the atmosphere together with a further ? tonne generated during
manufacture makes Midas bio diesel generators a viable and
conscientious option.
