School Holiday Swimming
For children aged 4½ years and older. Crash courses are an effective and fun way to introduce your child to swimming or boost your child's swimming ability. For details, pick up a School Holiday leaflet.
First Lesson
For all first lessons, if the child is unfamiliar with the pools, parents are permitted to escort pupils onto poolside (parents please walk barefooted) and seat them on the middle plinth. You must then return to the viewing area.
Recommendation Cards
The teacher will use a Recommendation Card to pass information/advice to parent or guardian. If the parent has a query concerning any recommendation, please contact the Wetside Manager via reception.
General Rules
- Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult in the pool.
- Last ticket is sold 30 minutes prior to session closing.
- Cameras can only be permitted provided written confirmation has been obtained from the manager.
- Armbands, goggles and swim hates can be purchased from Main Reception.
- A disabled hoist is available if it is required.
- Flippers, masks and hand paddles are not permitted in casual sessions. For safety reasons these items can only be used in coach-controlled sessions.
- Mobile phones are not permitted in the changing area at anytime.
