Full time Recreational Assistant
 
Salary - £13,468 pa
 
Hours - 37 hours per week pro rata working to a shift pattern
 
Qualifications/Experience:
 
A valid NPLQ is essential with a qualification in first aid at work desirable.
 
Overall Objective of the job:
 
To take responsibility for the safe and effective day to day operation of the facility, it’s staff
and customers.
 
Accountability:
 
Accountable to the Brentwood Leisure Trust Chief Executive, board of trustees, senior
managers and operations managers.
 
Accountable for all staff whilst on shift.
 
Key Tasks:
 
·         Pool lifeguarding
·         Preparation of hall events
·         work to the daily schedules of work
·         Provide support to all staff
·         Provide excellent customer service
·         Prepare the facility for the next shift
 
Main Duties:
 
·         To Lead and co-ordinate a safe evacuation of the pool in the event of an emergency
  
·         Responsible for assisting the late closing of the building ensuring it is secure and all areas are locked up correctly
  
·         Responsible for administering first aid and ensuring all the correct documentation has been completed
 
·         To ensure the highest levels of hygiene throughout the facility are being met and maintained through the use of
          pre-planned schedules whilst ensuring all COSHH guidelines are maintained.
  
·         To assist in helping all setups and takedowns at the appropriate programmed times for all bookings
 
·         To convey a message to customers of a high commitment to customer care and meeting the needs of the public
 
·         Ensure that you attend the appropriate staff training sessions to maintain knowledge in accordance with the NPLQ      
 
·         To carry out any delegated tasks from the operations managers
 
·         Any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Executive, senior managers or operations managers.  



 

Full-Time Senior Recreation Attendant
 
Location - Based at the Brentwood Centre
(The company reserve the right to relocate staff to an alternative site should the need arise)
 
Salary - £16,224

Hours - 37 hours per week pro rata working to a shift pattern
 
Qualifications/Experience:
 
At least one years’ experience supervising in a leisure environment / working with public. A valid NPLQ is essential with
a qualification in first aid at work desirable.

 Overall Objective of the job:

To take responsibility for the safe and effective day to day operation of the facility, it’s staff and customers.

Accountable to the Brentwood Leisure Trust Chief Executive, board of trustees, senior managers and operations managers. 
Accountable for all staff whilst on shift.
 
Key Tasks:
 
·         To complete daily operations check sheets
 
·         Plan daily schedules of work
 
·         Complete all opening/closing building tasking
 
·         Provide support to all staff
 
·         Ensure all the rota shifts are covered
 
·         Provide excellent customer service
 
·         Prepare the facility for the next shift
 
 Main Duties:
 
·         To Lead and co-ordinate a safe evacuation of all areas in the event of an emergency
 
·         Responsible for the early opening of the building ensuring it is ready for use by the general public.
 
·         Responsible for the late closing of the building ensuring it is secure and all areas are locked up correctly
 
·         Responsible for all monies to be banked each day, manage reception change requirements and general day to
          day operation of the safe
 
·         Responsible for administering first aid and ensuring all the correct documentation has been completed
 
·         To ensure the highest levels of hygiene throughout the facility are being met and maintained through the use of
          pre-planned schedules whilst ensuring all COSHH guidelines are maintained.
 
·          Ensure all staff rotas are maintained so correct staffing levels are met on poolside whilst allowing for enough staff
            for dry side activities
 
·         To be responsible for all setups and takedowns at the appropriate programmed times for all bookings
 
·         To convey a message to customers which is designed to show a high commitment to customer care and meeting
           the needs of the public
 
·         Ensure that you attend the appropriate staff training sessions to maintain knowledge in accordance with the NPLQ
 
·         To carry out any delegated tasks from the operations managers
 
·         Any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Executive, senior managers or operations managers.   
 
·         Responsible for supervising, closing and ensuring the security of the building during and after an event day this may
          include working extended hours at short notice.
